| In many of the photos taken throughout the park, it is hard to pick out the animals. Without knowing what to spot and where to look it is easy to miss them. Nature provides most of them with camouflaged that matches their environment. This protects the prey and help the hunters be more stealthy. |

| In Disney's Animal Kingdom, people are in cages and the animals roam freely. That is me in the cage. |
|
| The Pangani Forest Exploration Trail is just around the corner from the Safari. First stop on the trail is the aviary. |

Take the train to Conservation Station. It is worth the trip. They have hidden cameras throughout park to observe the animals unobtrusively, which are accessible from this area. At those monitors in the background, you can control these cameras: pan (up, down, left right), and zoom in and out to get better view. From here you can study the animals behavior without disturbing them. There are also some educational presentations available. |
|
There are various characters parading through the park from time to time. The folks were dressed up as peacocks on stilts. |
|
| Our last stop in the Animal Kingdom was
Dinoland. While there you will have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the
dinosaurs. Just so you know, it appears that the entire park was dedicated to this theme: preservation of animal habitat. FYI: They also have the scariest rides in Orlando in this area (not pictured), called Countdown to Extinction. . |
